    This is possibly just a WordPress question, but I was wondering if there was an elegant way to remove the footer in a custom template? There is a shoestrap_footer_override but was not sure if this is the way to go to remove a footer? Thanks.

    Hi Jeff,

    shoestrap_footer_override action-hook is the preferable way indeed. If you wish to remove footer completely, simply erase the inner section of my_custom_footer_override function of Docs example. ;)

    Is it possible to override on a per page template basis? I only want to remove the footer for a single custom template.

    Hi Jeff,

    you can use the is_page_template conditional tag to narrow your results, something like…

    function empty_footer() {}

    if ( is_page_template('portfolio.php') ) {
      add_action( 'shoestrap_footer_override', 'empty_footer' );
    }

    Cheers,
    fovoc
